Porsche Taycan World Debut September 4

Porsche announced that it’s first EV, the Porsche Taycan, will make its global debut on September 4, 2019.

The event will be live streamed on Porsche’s dedicated video microsite here: https://newstv.porsche.com/en/

Other than seeing the production version in detail, we are also expecting to get Taycan pricing details as well as release dates and launch scheduled for different regions of the world.

Currently, we know that the Porsche Taycan can go 0-62 mph in less than 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of over 155 mph.

Besides speed, however, Porsche spent lots of R&D money building an 800-volt charging system that will allow 15 minutes of charging time to give 248 miles of range.
